To insure patient safety, to avoid cross-infection and to offer an effective service, all electrodes have to be cleaned carefully, before they can be packed for sterilization. All organical material and dirt has to be removed!
Electrodes can be steam-autoclaved. The steam temperature should not exceed 140o C (284o F)
The electrodes can also be sterilized with Ethyle Oxide (EtO) gas.
