Supplies also offers the Pirouette, a product line of disposable concentric
EMG Needle Electrodes, made by Technomed Europe.
The Needles are developed in close cooperation with clinical
neurophysiologists. The gold-plated needle, in combination with a
platinum-iridium electrode wire, guarantees that the Pirouette registers
the smallest changes in electrical muscle signals during the
electromyographical examination (EMG) completely and factually.The,
in facets sharpened, needle tip has an ultra sharp point. This
significantly reduces the discomfort of the patient.
The Pirouette Nedle has an ergonomically designed
coaxial plug as the connection point to the electrode wire. Inside is an
orientation-free (360o) ‘Slide-In™’
connector, Artefacts and other electrical
disturbances are shielded from the recording equipment. The Pirouette
offers certainty for the patient and is, in every respect, user
friendly.
De Needles are available in different lengths, and
can be ordered directly from our website. You will also find the
matching cables, which are available with a choice of connectors. The
needles are EtO sterilized. Every needle is packaged separately a
